Vishnu Deo Sai to be new chief minister of Chhattisgarh
The suspense over the name of the Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh has ended. Former Union Minister and Senior Tribal Leader, Vishnu Deo Sai has been elected as the new Chief Minister of the state. An important meeting of 54 newly elected MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party was held on Sunday at the BJP office in Raipur to elect the leader of the legislative party.
The name of Vishnudev Sai was approved in the meeting. After the name of Vishnu Dev Sai was finalized, the Leaders including workers were seen expressing happiness to the news. BJP workers were seen celebrating outside the Kushabhau Thackeray complex by bursting firecrackers
In the legislature party meeting, Sai was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP legislature party. He will be the next Chief Minister of the state. In the recent Chhattisgarh assembly elections, BJP won 54 out of 90 seats. Congress, which had won 68 seats in the last elections in 2018, has been reduced to 35 seats this time. Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) managed to win one seat in the state.

Visnu Deo Sai was born in undivided Madhya Pradesh. Sai completed his 11th grade in 1981 at Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kunkuri, affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.
