Victory in Assembly polls is collective, not personal : PM Modi tells BJP MPs

After the landslide victory of Bhartiya Janta Party in three states of the country, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary board was held in the Parliament House today headed by PM modi. During this meet, PM Narendra Modi was congratulated for his victory in all three states. In the meeting, PM Modi said that this victory is not of Modi alone but the collective victory of all the workers.

BJP President JP Nadda welcomed the Prime Minister by garlanding him amid thunderous applause. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal and many Union Ministers and party MPs were present in the meeting. All the Lok Sabha members and Rajya Sabha members of the party attend the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting.

PM told the leaders in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting to go to their areas and contact the beneficiaries. Meet them and present the government schemes in a better way and and gear up for the Lok Sabha elections. On BJP’s victory in three states, PM Modi said that victory in three states was achieved due to team work.

PM Modi directed the MPs to actively participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign, because a developed India has to be created by 2047. The Prime Minister also said that there is a record of 58 percent repeat of BJP government in the states, whereas only 18 percent of Congress governments are repeated.

During this, PM Modi also shared an interesting fact. He said that Since independence, there have been 40 such occasions for Congress, when the party got a chance to go to the assembly elections again while in power, but it could repeat the government only 7 times. Whereas BJP got this opportunity 39 times and it was successful 22 times.
