Shahi Snan in Maha Kumbh, 3.5 crore people take holy dip

Maha kumbh : Almost 3.5 crore devotees took a holy dip in the confluence in the first Amrit bath of Maha Kumbh. The Amrit snan started at 6 am and ended at 6 pm. During this, saints from all 13 Akharas including Juna Akhara took a bath.

After bathing, people have started returning from Prayagraj. Heavy crowd was seen on the roads leading to the railway station and bus stand. There was no place to stand at Prayagraj railway station. People were stopped in the hall.

People are being sent to the platform as per the trains. Railway PRO Amit Singh said that 55 Maha Kumbh special trains have been dispatched since this morning.

4 people have died due to heart attack since Monday night. Out of these, 3 were admitted in Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) and 1 in Mela Central Hospital.

On Monday, on the first bath of Paush Purnima, 1.65 crore people took a dip in the Sangam. On Tuesday, 3.5 crore people took a dip in the Sangam. In this way, a total of 5.15 crore people have taken a dip in the Sangam in 2 days.
