Electoral Bonds : Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has termed electoral bonds as the biggest scam of the BJP Government. He called it an ‘extortion racket’ benefiting the BJP with the help of central agencies and also called it an anti-national activity.
The Congress leader in a series of tweets posted, This model of extortion from companies was prepared by Narendra Modi himself.
The rules of this ‘criminal game’ were clear, Gave a contract on one side, took a cut from the other sideRaid from one side, took donations from the other side, Investigative agencies like ED, IT, CBI are working as ‘recovery agents’ of Narendra Modi. Those who were once the institutions of the country are now working as weapons of BJP, said Gandhi in a X post.
‘Indian media is not in a position to tell the truth about electoral bonds to the public, hence you will have to recognize the real face of BJP yourself. Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country to completely immerse the government system in organized corruption”, he further wrote.
Addressing the press, Rahul said that political parties like Shiv Sena and NCP are being broken using money. Where has this money come from? He said that CBI and ED are not investigating. They are extorting money. BJP and Amit Shah are breaking political parties, and the whole of Maharashtra knows that the money for this has come from here.
