Srinagar : After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has visited Srinagar today. During this, he also met the victims of the terrorist attack.
Rahul Gandhi said that the intention of the terrorists is to divide the society and we should not let the terrorists succeed. I want to tell everyone that the whole country stands together. The intention behind whatever has happened is to divide the society.
Rahul Gandhi said that it is sad to see that some people are attacking our brothers and sisters in Jammu and Kashmir. Whatever has happened, the intention behind it is to divide the society. I have met one of the injured victims, as well as met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and LG Manoj Sinha.
He said that my love and affection is for those who have lost their family members. Yesterday we had a meeting with the government. We said that we support every step taken by the government, Rahul said.
Rahul Gandhi also met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and discussed the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Officials said that Rahul Gandhi first talked to the injured tourist at the Army hospital here and then met Abdullah at his residence.
