Security Breach In Lok Sabha : Two people breached security and entered the Lok Sabha, during the ongoing winter session of Loksabha. Both the accused jumped into the House from the audience gallery during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, after which the proceedings had to be suddenly adjourned till 2 pm. These two accused, who entered the Lok Sabha, were beaten severely by the MPs.
During zero hour in the House, at around 1 pm, two persons jumped into the House from the audience gallery. The incident occurred when Khagen Murmu, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from West Bengal, was speaking in the ongoing winter session of Parliament. one of them was running forward, jumping over the table. Security personnel and some MPs surrounded him. Later both were caught.
After the incident inside the Parliament, the Union Home Secretary, top officers of IB, RAW, Delhi Police, CRPF, ITBP and Special Cell have reached the spot. Preliminary investigation into the incident has started. Forensic team has also reached the spot. There has been an uproar over the negligence or intelligence lapse of the police in this case.
Talking about the incident Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that two people jumped into the house. Samajwadi Party MP ST Hasan said that two people jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the audience gallery and took out something from their shoes, due to which the gas started spreading.
