Madhya Pradesh Polls : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is Campaigning for Madhya Pradesh polls. He addressed public gatherings in different assembly of the state on Tuesday . He claimed that a storm from the Congress party is about to come in Madhya Pradesh. The people of MP will work to make the Congress party win 150 seats.
Blaming BJP for the toppling the government, Rahul Gandhi said that in 2018 you had elected the Congress party government and then BJP leaders Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Shivraj Singh Chouhan cheated you by buying MLAs by paying crores of rupees. They did not cheat the billionaires of Madhya Pradesh, but cheated the farmers, youth, women and laborers. When the Congress government came to power in Madhya Pradesh, we had waived off the loans of 27 lakh farmers.
Attacking BJP government over corruption, Rahul said, the biggest scam here is the Vyapam scam, in which Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government harmed one crore youth. He sold Patwari exam seats and did the work of selling MPPSC seats. Rahul Gandhi said that you have to work to uproot the anti-tribal and anti-farmer BJP government in Madhya Pradesh polls and form a Congress government that is in the interest of farmers, youth, women and laborers.
Rahul said that the BJP government takes from the poor and gives all the money from the banks to its industrialist friends. He said that there are two types of governments, one which puts money in the pockets of the poor. The second one which puts money in the pockets of a few industrialists.
We had waived off the loans of farmers last time in Madhya Pradesh. This time again we will waive the loan. Big industrialists along with Narendra Modi and Shivraj Singh Chouhan worked to steal your and our government.
The Congress leader said that the first responsibility of the Congress party is to protect the farmers, youth, women and laborers. Therefore, our promise to you is to waive off the loans of farmers. We will give Rs 2600 per quintal for wheat and Rs 2500 per quintal for paddy and it will be increased to Rs 3000. At the same time, Rs 1500 per month will go to every woman’s account and Rs 2.5 lakh will be given on the birth of a daughter.
