Kesari Chapter 2 : Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Kesari’ has completed a journey of six years today on Friday 21 March. The film was released in theatres in the year 2019 and was a hit. Now its sequel is also coming. The makers have shared a glimpse of the sequel ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ on social media. It has also indicated that important information will be given about this tomorrow i.e. on Saturday.
Akshay Kumar has shared a post from his Instagram account. He has shared a video, which is of Kesari. Along with this, he has written, ‘New war, but the passion and fire is the same’. He has written in the caption, ‘Celebrating six years of the film ‘Kesari’. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari and also celebrating the new chapter, which is starting soon.
The long-awaited sequel of the historical drama is set to release in April 2025. The film is based on the life of India’s top barrister C Sankaran Nair, who fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Along with Akshay Kumar, the sequel will also feature R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, ‘Kesari 2’ will bring a new story, with the sequel focusing on a completely different plot instead of directly continuing the events of the original film.
