Mukesh Chandrakar Murder : International journalist organization SAARC Journalists Forum, Indian Journalists Association and PPI have strongly condemned the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar in Chhattisgarh. Compensation has been demanded.
The Press Club of India, Women’s Press Club and the National Union of Journalists of India are also among those condemning it. The unions have said that journalist Mukesh Chandrakar played an important role in ensuring the release of the abducted CRPF personnel from the Naxalites.

It is known that the body of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar was recovered from the septic tank built on the property of a contractor on Friday. The police have declared it a case of murder, and have detained several suspects for questioning. Chandrakar was missing. After receiving information about her disappearance, the police started an investigation and her body was recovered from the contractor’s property on Friday.
