Sports : The Indian cricket team with consecutive 7 wins become the first team to reach the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup 2023. The Indian team achieved this feat by defeating Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday (2 November). The Indian team is on top in the points table by winning all its 7 matches so far.

In response to the target of 358 runs, the Sri Lankan team was bowled out on 55 runs in 19.4 overs. With this defeat, Sri Lanka is out of the race for the semi-finals. For Sri Lanka, Kasun Rajitha scored 14 runs, Angelo Mathews scored 12 runs and Mahish Tikshana scored 12 runs. Five batsmen of the team could not even open their account. For India, Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets and Mohammed Siraj took 3 wickets.
