Faf du Plessis Appointed Captain Of Texas Super Kings For Major Cricket league:
Sports : Texas Super Kings (TSK) has appointed former South African captain Faf du Plessis as their captain for the first edition of Major League Cricket (MLC).
Faf du Plessis is the captain of the Johannesburg Super Kings (JSK) in South Africa’s SA20 league, and now the Super Kings have also handed over the captaincy of the Texas Super Kings (TSK) in the Major League Cricket (MLC) to the veteran batsman.
The Texas franchise has signed Ambati Rayudu as well as CSK star cricketers Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner and bowling coach Dwayne Bravo for MLC 2023. In addition, TSK have also signed South African batsmen David Miller and Gerald Coetzee as well as Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams for the upcoming debut season of the MLC.
Texas Super Kings (TSK) will begin their MLC 2023 campaign against Los Angeles Knight Riders on July 14 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. Other teams in this league are Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, Washington Freedom and Seattle Orcas.
