Rajyasabha Polls : The Election Commission of India (ECI) today announced elections for 56 vacant seats of Rajya Sabha 15 states. voting for the vacant seats of Rajya Sabha has been issued. Voting for which will held on February 27.The last date for nomination is 15 February.

Out of 56 seats, maximum 10 are from Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, Maharashtra and Bihar have 6 seats each. Whereas Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal have 5 seats each. Voting will also be held on 4-4 Rajya Sabha seats of Karnataka and Gujarat on 27th February. 3 seats each in Telangana, Rajasthan and Odisha. voting will be held on 1 seat each in Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Himachal.
Results to be out on 27th February
Voting will be held on 56 seats of Rajya Sabha on 27th February and the results will come on the same day. The Commission will issue notification for the elections on 8 February. The last date for nomination is 15 February. The date of scrutiny of nomination papers is 16th February.
