Delhi University Launches CSAS Portal For UG Admission: The latest information for the candidates seeking admission in Delhi University’s undergraduate course is that the CSAS portal has been opened for admission. Candidates who want to take admission in various UG and PG programs of DU can register by visiting the portal of Common Seat Allocation System. Registration for admission in the academic session 2023-24 has started. DU has 78 UG programs in a total of 68 colleges with 71,000 seats. Candidates can apply for these.
Steps for registration on CSS Portal
To register, first of all go to the official website i.e https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in/.
Here on the homepage, the New Registration column will be given if you are visiting the portal for the first time. Click and fill it.
If the registration is done then sign in by entering your login credentials.
Now fill the application form and upload all the necessary documents asked for.
Now verify your details with the application form of DU.
Now download the form and take out its hardcopy and keep it. This will come in handy later.
Candidates who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023 and the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2023 are eligible to apply for the CSAS counselling process for the academic year 2023–24.
The university is once again using CUET scores to determine which students are accepted into its UG and PG degrees, just like it did last year. Depending on their CUET results, students will be admitted into more than 70 Delhi University institutions.
Admission will be done on the basis of CUET score.
Admission of candidates in various courses of DU will be done on the basis of normalized score of CUET. The name, photograph and signature of the candidate will be taken from the CUET portal and cannot be changed.
Fee to pay for candidates
For taking admission in various courses of Delhi University, candidates have to pay one time non-refundable fee. The fee for UR, OBC, EWS category is Rs 250. While the fee for SC, ST candidates is Rs 100. Candidates are advised to check the admission website, your email and dashboard for all communication, updates and schedules.
Delhi University will shortly hold the PhD admissions via the Central University Entrance Test (CUET). On June 9, the Delhi University Executive Council issued a resolution allowing CUET to be used for PhD admissions as well.
