BPSC Protest: Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj, who was on a hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan demanding cancellation of BPSC exam, has been arrested by Patna Police. After Kishore’s arrest, his supporters have started creating ruckus. Police has arrested PK and taken him to AIIMS for checkup. His supporters have also reached there. Patna Police will present Prashant Kishore in the court today.
After getting a checkup done at AIIMS, Prashant Kishore is currently kept in a safe place by the police. Prashant Kishore has many charges against him including agitation in a restricted area and obstruction in government work. Two cases have been registered against Prashant Kishore at Gandhi Maidan police station.
Patna police has arrested Prashant Kishore at around 3:45 am on Monday morning. According to the information, a large number of police forces reached Gandhi Maidan early this morning and forcibly took Prashant Kishore and his supporters with them to AIIMS Patna.
Ealier Prashant kishore had demanded that he will not move from the protest until Chief Minister Nitish Kumar personally met with the students and addresses their concerns regarding the irregularities in the BPSC exam.
