MLC Election : Bhartiya Janta Party on Saturday released the list of names of its candidates for MLC elections in Bihar. Mangal Pandey, Dr. Lal Mohan Gupta and Anamika Singh have been made candidates for the Legislative Council.
The party backed Mangal Pandey for making MLC for the third consecutive time. He has previously been the State President of BJP and Health Minister in Bihar Government.
Former State President of BJP Anamika Singh will be the woman candidate from the party. Anamika Singh to become MLC for the first time. The three names were announced in the list of candidates released by the BJP central office.
The Grand Alliance has also announced its five candidates. Rashtriya Janata Dal has made former CM Rabri Devi, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Syed Faisal Ali and Dr. Urmila Thakur. Meanwhile, ally CPI (ML) has fielded Shashi Yadav.
