After this the Australian team was reduced to 386 runs. England got a seven-run lead in the first innings. He scored 273 runs in the second innings and set Australia a total of 281 runs. The Kangaroo team won the match in the last session on the last day.

England won the toss and decided to bat first and declared the innings by scoring 393 runs for 8 wickets. Former captain Joe Root scored an inning of 118 runs for the team.
