West Bengal : Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah addressed a public rally today at Midnapore. He asserted that BJP will win over 200 seats in the West Bengal assembly polls and form the government. He said that people of the state want change.
Shah said, “Mamata didi says the BJP takes people from other parties. I want to remind her of her days in Congress. You [Mamata Banerjee] did the same when you left Congress and made TMC’. When people of Bengal are coming with BJP to transform the state of Bengal, why is she worried? This is just the beginning. These people are leaving your party wilfully, he added.
Former Trinmool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP in presence of Amit shah. He has been followed by nine other MLAs and one Member of Parliament who have switched over from the TMC.
