Akshay Kumar Unveils FIRST Look of Mission Raniganj
Superstar Akshay Kumar unveiled the thrilling first look of his upcoming film Mission Raniganj which was earlier titled The Great Indian Rescue. In a recent development the title of the film was changed to Mission Raniganj.
Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared the first look from Mission Raniganj- the promising tale of heroism. He wrote, “In 1989, one man achieved the impossible! Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj in cinemas on 6th October. Teaser out tomorrow.”
The film is inspired by a real-life incident at “Raniganj Coalfield” and inspired by the bravery of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led coal mine rescue mission. Mr. Gill played a major role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine.
Along side Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma and Virendra Saxena also stars in the movie. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor, ‘Mission Raniganj’ is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It will be released in theatres on October 6th 2023.
