Bihar Cabinet Expansion : 7 MLA  takes oath as Minister

Patna : The cabinet of Nitish Kumar government was expanded in Bihar on Wednesday. A total of seven MLAs took oath as ministers in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet. All these ministers have been made from the BJP quota. Among these, two ministers have been made from Darbhanga district. 

The two ministers have been made from Tirhut division. Apart from this, one minister each from Patna, Purnia and Saran division has been made in the Nitish cabinet.

BJP has tried to satisfy all the castes. Among these ministers, one is a Rajput, one is Bhumihar, one is Kurmi, one is Kewat, one is Kushwaha, one is Teli and one is from Marwari community. The MLAs who have been made ministers include Krishna Kumar Mantu of Kurmi caste, Vijay Mandal of Kewat caste, Raju Singh of Rajput caste, Jivesh Mishra of Bhumihar caste, Sunil Kumar of Kushwaha caste, Motilal Prasad of Teli caste and Sanjay Saraogi of Marwari community.

The seven faces who have got a place in the Nitish cabinet include Vijay Kumar Mandal, MLA from Sakti assembly seat of Araria district, Jivesh Mishra, MLA from Jale seat of Darbhanga district and Sanjay Saraogi, MLA from Darbhanga seat of Darbhanga district, Motilal Prasad, MLA from Riga seat of Sitamarhi district, Raju Kumar Singh, MLA from Sahebganj of Muzaffarpur district, Dr. Sunil Kumar, MLA from Biharsharif seat of Nalanda district and Krishna Kumar Mantu, MLA from Amanour seat of Saran district.
