WTC : South Africa defeated Pakistan in a thrilling match and won the first Test by two wickets. With this, South Africa has made it to the final of the ICC World Test Championship-2025. They have become the first team to qualify for the final.
By the end of the third day, South Africa needed 121 runs to win. They lost 3 wickets during this period. On the fourth day, Aiden Markram came out to bat at 22 runs but he was out after scoring 37 runs.
Temba Bavuma played an innings of 40 runs. David Bedingham scored 14 runs. In the end, Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada led the team to victory on the basis of brilliant batting. Tristan Stubbs was out after scoring 1 run.
Pakistan’s hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship were already over. South Africa has become the first team to reach the final. Either India or Australia can fix the second spot in the final.
