Rajasthan CM oath Ceremony Bhajan Lal Sharma took oath as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Chief Minister of the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda, State President CP Joshi along with other senior leaders of bhartiya Janta Party attended the swearing-in ceremony held outside the Albert Hall in Ram Niwas Bagh. Along with this several Union Ministers and CMs and Deputy CMs of different states also attend the swearing-in ceremony as guests.
Bhajanlal Sharma belongs to general category and been a active in politics for last 34 ,years. Bhajanlal Sharma is 55 years old. He is a post graduate. Hailing from Bharat Pur Sharma was given ticket for the first time from Sanganer assembly seat of Jaipur district.
In the recently concluded assembly results the Bharatiya Janata Party, maintaining the tradition of Rajasthan, won the majority and sealed the departure of Congress from power. In the Rajasthan Assembly elections, Congress party got 115 seats, while Congress got 69 seats. In Rajasthan, which has 200 assembly constituencies, elections were held on only 199 seats due to the death of the Congress candidate from Karanpur before the elections.
