The ICC has announced the schedule of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 on Tuesday. The ICC announced the World Cup schedule at 12 noon at the St. Regis Astor Ballroom in Lower Parel, Mumbai. India will host the entire tournament, which will begin on October 5. The final match of the ODI World Cup will be played on 19 November.
The first semi-final will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 15 November and the second semi-final will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 16 November. If India qualifies for the semi-finals, it will play its semi-final match in Mumbai.

A total of 10 teams will participate at the showcase event, the first eight having already qualified through the Cricket World Cup Super League. The final two spots will be determined at the end of the Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, which concludes on July 9.
Each team plays the other nine in a round robin format with the top four qualifying for the knockout stage and semi-finals.
According to the schedule, Indian team will play two practice matches to prepare for the World Cup 2023. The Indian team will play its first warm-up match against England on 30 September in Guwahati. After this, on October 3, it will play a match against the first qualifier in Thiruvananthapuram.
